At Lucent Recovery and Wellness, our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) offers a structured, highly intensive level of mental healthcare designed for individuals who require significant support and clinical depth but benefit from time at home outside of their treatment process. Here, you can find a compassionate balance: the profound, intensive mental health support you need, while still allowing you to nurture your life at home. The PHP is the next step up from traditional Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOPs), ideal for those who need more comprehensive daily therapeutic engagement than standard outpatient therapy, but who do not require 24-hour inpatient care or crisis stabilization. It’s a crucial stepping stone, providing a robust framework for profound healing and skill integration in real-time.

OUR COMPREHENSIVE PHP CURRICULUM & INTEGRATED THERAPEUTIC MODALITIES

Imagine dedicating yourself to healing each day, with the intensive support and structure needed to create lasting, positive change. In our PHP, you'll engage in programming 5 days a week, typically 6 hours per day. We also provide a nourishing meal each day, ensuring you have the energy and focus needed to truly immerse yourself in your healing journey. This extended engagement allows for a truly transformative dive into therapeutic work. Each day, you'll experience a rich mix of evidence-based modalities, thoughtfully integrated and personalized to guide your unique recovery:

DIALECTICAL BEHAVIOR THERAPY (DBT) INTENSIVE

Learn practical, powerful skills to navigate intense emotional swings, manage distress, improve relationships, and ground yourself in mindfulness, helping you gain control and clarity when life feels overwhelming.

INTERNAL FAMILY SYSTEMS (IFS) FOR INNER HARMONY

Explore your inner world with deep compassion. You’ll learn to understand different “Parts” of yourself – even those that cause pain – to heal old wounds and reclaim your natural “Core Self” for true self-leadership and inner peace.

POLYVAGAL-INFORMED NERVOUS SYSTEM REGULATION

Discover how your body’s automatic “Body Modes” (Calm & Connected, Alarm System, Shutdown) impact your sense of safety and connection. You’ll gain practical tools to regulate your nervous system for greater calm, presence, and authentic engagement in your life.

RELATIONAL THERAPIES

Unpack complex relationship patterns that might be causing distress, such as the dynamics of the Victim, Rescuer, and Persecutor roles. You’ll learn skillful ways to communicate, set boundaries, and build healthier, more supportive connections that truly nourish you.

EXPERIENTIAL WORK & PSYCHODRAMA

Go beyond traditional talk therapy with dynamic, hands-on activities that connect your mind, body, and spirit. Through psychodrama, you can safely explore emotions and roles. These sessions, including sound baths, cold plunges, nature hikes, museum visits, and yoga, foster emotional expression, deepen insight, and provide joy and engagement in your healing process.
